The Bucks County Airport Authority has secured funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) through the Federal Aviation Administration. The project to be funded by ARRA funds is the reconstruction and widening of runway 11-29 at The Quakertown Airport. The approximate cost is $1,891,950. This is fully funded through ARRA.

Project Description
Bids for the project were opened June 9, 2009 and the contract was awarded to Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc.
At the July 8, 2009 Board meeting the Bucks County Airport Authority accepted a grant agreement for the project in the amount of $1,891,950.
