Doylestown Airport Schedules Annual “Celebration of Flight” Open House for May 17

              Doylestown Airport will celebrate its 80th anniversary with a day of family-oriented activities.

                 During the Open House the Central Bucks Athletic Association (CBAA) will sponsor a

                flea market to raise funds for a proposed club house at the Herbst Field Sports Complex

 

           DOYLESTOWN, PA -- Doylestown Airport's annual "Celebration of Flight" Open House will take place on Saturday , May 17th (rain date Sunday, May 18th) from 10a.m. - 5 p.m. at the Airport (located at the intersection of Old Easton and Landisville Roads, Doylestown). Sponsored by the Bucks County Airport Authority and the Doylestown Pilot Association this event is free and open to the community.

              

               At the Open House, guests will enjoy a variety of family-oriented activities including free airplane rides, live music, refreshments, demonstrations and a display of historic aircraft and memorabilia in celebration of the Airport’s 80th anniversary.

              

               Simultaneously, guests may take part in a CBAA-sponsored flea market that will raise funds for a proposed club house at the Herbst Field Sports Complex.  The flea market will be held at the Airport during the Open House (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) and will feature new, vintage and collectible items as well as arts and crafts. This year marks CBAA’s 35th anniversary.
