Santa’s Annual Visit to Doylestown Airport Marked by Warm Spirits, Chilly Temperatures and Hundreds of Sleigh Bells

DOYLESTOWN, PA – Not even Jack Frost could chill the spirits of the crowd that gathered at Doylestown Airport on Saturday, December 15 to celebrate Santa’s arrival.  Despite temperatures hovering near the freezing mark, hundreds of families turned out to greet the man in red and his helicopter full of presents.

This year, as a special surprise, the children were given a sleigh bell with a tag that read, “When you hear Santa come near, ring this bell loudly to let him know that you’re here.”  And they did!  It was clear from the glorious noise produced by the crowd, that not a single child was willing to risk having Santa miss them.

Sponsored by Leading Edge Aviation, Santa’s helicopter trip to Doylestown is a tradition that spans 15 years.
