Bucks County Airport Authority Appoints New Board Member

DOYLESTOWN, PA – The Bucks County Airport Authority (BCAA) is pleased to announce that the Bucks County Commissioners have appointed Lou McKay as a member of BCAA’s Board.  McKay will fill the position vacated following the passing of long-time board member Harry Scarlett in June.

“Lou is a great addition to our board,” says Allen Black, Chairman of the BCAA Board.  “He brings to the table a strong work ethic, a passion for flying and an abiding commitment to the Bucks County community and its residents.  I have no doubt that Lou will serve this Board and the community admirably and to the best of his ability.”                     McKay has years of experience in the transportation industry with more than two decades of his time being spent at Honeywell International Bendix where he works in sales and business development.  Prior to this, McKay served with Allied Signal in Washington, D.C.

Currently, McKay – who is a resident of Bedminster Township - serves as a board member of the Bedminster Municipal Authority and holds membership with the Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association, and Experimental Aircraft Association.

“It is an honor to be selected as a member of BCAA’s Board,” says McKay. “I look forward to helping BCAA continue to serve its mission of providing a safe and efficient aviation infrastructure for  access to the nation’s airways for Bucks County’s businesses and residents.”
